Titanium kingpin for quarter midgets, made as a direct replacement for the steel pin currently used on Bullrider and Storm chassis. It may fit other quarter midget chassis as well, so check your pin length and thread before ordering.
The kingpin is the pivot the whole front end turns on, so it takes steering loads and bump loads all night long. Grade 5 6AL-4V titanium gives you that strength at roughly half the weight of steel, and it takes the weight off the very front of the car where it matters for turn-in.
Titanium also does not rust, which is the real problem with a steel kingpin: a corroded pin binds in the spindle, makes the steering feel notchy, and turns a simple front end teardown into a fight.
