Product Details
Titanium flywheel starter nut that threads onto the end of the crankshaft in place of the heavy steel OEM nut. It uses the 14mm x 1.5 metric thread found on clone and GX200-pattern engines, so it fits the clone, Predator 212 and GX200 builds that outlaw kart, jr sprint and go kart racers run.
This nut sits at the outboard end of the crank, spinning with the flywheel, which makes every gram of it rotating weight on the highest-revving part of the engine. Pulling mass off the flywheel end lets the engine pick up rpm faster off the corner and through the gears — the same reason racers pay for a lightened flywheel in the first place. Titanium keeps the clamp load and thread strength of the steel nut while weighing a fraction as much, and it will not rust onto the crank threads after a season of wet nights.
The head is machined as a double hex so it takes either a 3/4 inch or a 15/16 inch socket. That means you can pull the flywheel with whatever is already in the pit box instead of hunting for one specific size at the track.
- Material: titanium
- Thread: 14mm x 1.5 metric

Fits clone, Predator 212 and GX200 crankshafts using the 14mm x 1.5 thread — confirm your crank thread before ordering. Flywheel, starter cup and washer are sold separately. Torque to your engine builder's flywheel nut spec; do not overtighten.
