Grade 5 titanium 1/4-20 x 3/4" coarse thread bolt for axle lock collars, brake hub hardware and general chassis fastening on outlaw karts, junior sprints, quarter midgets and micro sprints. Bolt heads are drilled for safety wire.
Thread pitch matters here. This is the COARSE 1/4-20 version. It is NOT the bolt used in the Revolver Brake Hub — that hub takes the FINE 1/4-28 thread bolt, which we sell separately. Check the threads in your collar or hub before ordering.
Titanium is roughly 40% lighter than steel at comparable strength, so every bolt you swap on a rotating assembly takes weight out of the part of the kart that costs you the most to accelerate. It also shrugs off corrosion from washdowns, track moisture and trailer storage, so the heads stay clean and the drilled safety-wire holes stay usable season after season.
