Better life, less drag, more speed. This superfinished tapered roller bearing and race set is a direct replacement for the standard tapered bearings and races used in our tapered front hubs on outlaw karts, junior sprints and go karts.
These bearings have been micropolished using an isotropic superfinishing process. Machining imperfections are honed down, reducing surface roughness on a microscopic level so your lubricant can actually do its job. When the lubrication works, friction and therefore heat drop - and less heat means less wear and a longer service life.

When using superfinished bearings you must replace the bearing race as well. If you cannot tap the old bearing race out, we suggest carefully running a bead of weld around the center of the race, then tapping the hub on a bench - the race should shrink and move.
