Product Details
An 18-8 stainless steel washer used to shim the jack shaft or crank shaft and set end play on go kart racing clutches. It drops in behind the clutch drive hub on the clutch bolt, so you can pull the clutch back in when it sits out too far on outlaw kart, junior sprint, quarter midget and micro sprint setups.
End play that is out of spec loads the bearings sideways and lets the clutch wander on the shaft, which chews up the snout and throws off chain alignment. Shimming it with a washer is the simple fix, and 18-8 stainless will not rust into place or gall against the hub the way plain steel can.
