The Junior Sprint Front Hub is a fully sealed front wheel hub built for junior sprint karts, developed together with Area 54 LLC. It takes the tried-and-true hub design used in sprint cars and micro sprints and scales it down for the junior sprint world, and should fit most junior sprint chassis.
Tapered inner and outer bearings keep rolling resistance to a minimum while still carrying the heavy side loads a front hub sees mid-corner. A screw-on outer dust cover and a bolted-in inner seal close the hub off from dust, debris, and moisture, which means you can run either grease or oil inside it.
The screw-on outer dust cover uses an offset fill screw, so topping the hub off with oil between heats is quick and mess-free. Sealing the hub also keeps track dirt out of the bearings, which is what usually kills front hub bearings on a junior sprint over a long season.
