Product Details

Titanium 5/16-24 fine thread lightweight bolt with a drilled hex head, for hub, brake and chassis hardware on outlaw karts, junior sprints, quarter midgets and micro sprints. The drilled head takes safety wire, so it passes tech where wiring is required.

This is a short-grip fastener built for weight savings: a hex head machined down to .2 inch deep and a total length under three quarters of an inch, in titanium rather than steel. On a rotating or unsprung assembly that adds up quickly across a full bolt-up, and titanium will not pit or rust from washdowns and trailer storage the way plated steel does.

  • Material: titanium
  • Thread: 5/16-24 fine
  • Head: .5 inch across x .2 inch deep, hex, drilled for safety wire
  • Overall length: .73 inch
  • Weight: 4.6 grams (0.01 lb) each
  • Sold individually

Sold individually — order the count your assembly needs. Check thread pitch and grip length against the bolt you are replacing; the fine 5/16-24 thread will not interchange with coarse 5/16-18 hardware.
