Product Details

TiGEAR Sprockets by Five Three Titanium are Grade 5 titanium clutch drive gears cut for #35 pitch chain. They mount to Bully style clutch baskets on outlaw kart, junior sprint, quarter midget and micro sprint karts, and are offered from 12 to 20 teeth so you can dial gearing track to track.

Titanium gives the strength of steel at roughly half the density, and the drive gear is the furthest mass out on the clutch, so weight taken off here counts double. Dropping that rotating mass sharpens throttle response and lets the engine pull up through the RPM range faster off the corner. Grade 5 titanium also shrugs off the corrosion that eats steel gears between race weekends.
