Two disk titanium upgrade kit for bully style clutches on outlaw karts, junior sprints and clone/Predator go kart engines. Run it as a replacement for the steel parts in your current clutch, or add a few more components and build a fresh two disk clutch around it.
This kit drops just shy of a pound of rotating weight out of the clutch. That weight sits right on the crankshaft, so taking it out is felt everywhere the engine has to change RPM — off the corner, on the restart, every time you get back to the throttle. Titanium also takes clutch heat without complaint and will not corrode between teardowns.
Our clutch design uses a separate stainless steel bearing race inside the clutch basket rather than one attached to the drive hub. The small #4-40 button head allen holds the gear snap ring in place in the basket — without it the gear can rotate and pull out.
