This titanium brake piston is made as an OE replacement for the Hegar 1 inch left front brake piston used on outlaw karts.
Titanium brake pistons do not just shed weight, they change how heat moves through the caliper. The piston is machined from 6Al-4V, which has the lowest thermal conductivity of all titanium alloys, so it keeps braking heat away from your brake fluid and helps prevent boiling and the soft pedal that follows.
Our pistons are also physical vapor deposition (PVD) coated to reduce potential corrosion when introduced to brake fluid.
