IKF approves Winged Karts for the Duffy

ONTARIO, CA (March 10, 2016) – The Board of Directors of the International Kart Federation announces the dates and location for the 2 Cycle Speedway Grand Nationals for 2016: • LOCATION: Newton Kart Klub, 2801 E. 5th Street South, Newton, IA • EVENT DATES: July 27 – July 29, 2016 Get your circle track dirt karts together and get in on the action this summer. Newton Kart Klub has hosted the IKF Speedway Grand Nationals on a number of occasions and puts on great events. New track grading preparation began in the fall of 2015 and includes new fencing on the spectator side of the track along with improvements to compliment flush toilets installed last year. Two punch dates are on the calendar and allows for a full day of racing. • Saturday April 30th. and June 25th. Gates open at 8am and hot laps start at 10am. Following the day time race, NKK will be running a club points race in the evening. A chance to run two complete races in one day, plenty of opportunity to get track experience ahead of the Grand Nationals. Don’t forget about the other Region 5 punch races on the calendar: • Saturday June 4th. at Delaware IA • Sunday June 5th. at Poplar Grove IA • Saturday July 9th. at Delaware IA • Sunday July 10th.
